Substance Use Services

Helps individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Substance Use Services is housed within Community Support Services' Prevention and Intervention Services Division. The office uses a person-centered approach designed to treat individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

EASE

Provides holistic substance use and mental health services to clients within the LGBTQIA+ community and those with HIV/AIDS.
Project UpLift

Provides young LGBTQ+ adults (age 18-35) with brief intensive case management services connecting them to resources such as: peer support services and educational needs.
Treatment In Detention Center

Provides inmates an opportunity to participate in group and individual sessions where substance abuse issues are addressed.
Treatment In Shelters

Provides Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Treatment (SAIOP) services within the Men’s and Women’s shelters of Mecklenburg County.
